Terrible storm impacts 1112 Jenkinsburg January 12 – 13, 2023. 

Inclement weather rolled into Jenkinsburg ~ 4:45pm EST on January 12th, knocking out power. This severe storm/tornado then brought a wide range of destruction including loss of life, school/daycare closures, powerlines down across GA, trees blocking driveways/roadways, etc.

Several LKQ team members were impacted, experiencing minor to severe property damage, including Cyndi Melvin, Tim Melton, Vincent Usher, Eric Bryant, Wykehtia Jones, Kayla Smith, Chelsie Willis, Lori Thompson, Mary Stumbaugh, and Dalton Clements.

Location 1112 Jenkinsburg felt the impact throughout Friday until power was restored around 11pm that evening. Multiple team members were able to come in and continue operating where possible, reliant on generator power.
