Remanufactured axle assemblies are viable recycled assemblies that have been disassembled, inspected, and remanufactured to OEM specifications. During the remanufacturing process, worn or damaged components are replaced, and the units are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, re-assembled and tested. The goal is to return the assembly to a like-new condition, ensuring it performs reliably and safely.

Remanufactured axle assemblies are a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to replacing a worn-out unit with a brand new assembly.

All LKQ remanufactured rear axles include:

  • New or remanufactured axle shafts
  • New or remanufactured backing plates
  • Oil and friction modifier (where required)
  • New “OE” grade bearings and seals
  • Rear axles are inspected for correct backlash clearance to ensure proper lubrication and run out to prevent overheating and noises.
  • Single units are boxed for Factory Direct shipment
