In 2018, John Keating, General Manager of the Precious Metals Group, was asked to help start a charity catering to the needs of families whose children were seriously ill and in a Neptune, NJ hospital. Specifically, John was asked if he could use his business knowledge to help start a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. John accepted the challenge and within 12 months, Love Lifts Us Up was born.

Love Lifts Us Up is a collaborative interfaith ministry of kindness, compassion, and care to families and staff in the Pediatric and NICU unit of Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The organization has helped over three hundred families to date with clothing, diapers, car seats, pack-n-plays, gift cards etc. Recently, the organization received over 15 bicycles from a local shop to help brighten the lives of these families.
